Scripiora legal
Deleting your data
Effective
You can have Scripiora delete everything it holds about you, or only what came from one connected account. Each way below takes effect immediately unless it says otherwise. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and why.
At a glance
- Deleting your Scripiora account deletes all of your data, including everything from YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
- Disconnecting or removing one platform deletes only the data that came from it.
- If you asked Meta to delete your data, the confirmation code you were given shows the request's status on this page.
1. Delete your whole Scripiora account
Open Settings, go to Security and choose Delete account. Your account, your content and all data from connected YouTube, Instagram and TikTok accounts are deleted at once, and Scripiora's access to Google and TikTok is revoked. If you would rather we did it, email hello@scripiora.com from the address on your account; we delete it within 7 days and confirm when it is done.
2. Instagram
- In Scripiora Studio: choose Disconnect on the channel's Instagram page. The account and everything synced from it (profile, posts, insights and comments) are deleted at once.
- In Instagram: remove Scripiora under Apps and websites. Instagram tells us, and we delete the same data straight away.
- Through Meta: if you ask Meta to have Scripiora delete your data, we delete it straight away and Meta gives you a confirmation code to check here.
3. TikTok
- In Scripiora Studio: choose Disconnect on the channel's TikTok page. Scripiora's access is revoked at TikTok, and the account and everything synced from it (profile, videos, statistics and post records) are deleted at once.
- In TikTok: open Settings and privacy, then Security and permissions, then Apps and services permissions, and remove Scripiora. TikTok tells us, and we delete the same data straight away.
4. YouTube
- In Scripiora Studio: choose Disconnect on the Channel page. Scripiora's access is revoked at Google and the channel's data (channel details, videos, analytics and comments) is deleted at once.
- In your Google Account: remove Scripiora from the Google Account security settings page. Scripiora stops all activity for that channel and deletes its data within 30 days.
5. Backups
Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it is overwritten. It is never restored into Scripiora.
